Summer Paint Color Trends Are Here!

Summer is here and there is a lot of talk about paint colors and what’s trending. Homeowners want to make a room more bright and airy. Yes, we all have heard “grey’s are in” and taking over the dull beige/taupe look- however, some of my clients state grey is not their “go-to” color and need more color choices!

Here is a list of our favorite paint colors that we love to work with. Keep in mind adding accessories is also a great way to brighten up your space if painting is not an option. (Check out our Facebook Page for tips on color and other design trends)

Believe it or not yellow is making a comeback! Make a cheerful, cozy statement. Warm, rich yellows feel organic and all-natural. Best paired with cream and blue accents, according to Valspar, which selected Golden Ochre as one of their colors of the year.

Benjamin Moore picked the vivid Caliente as their color of the year. This lively shade of red can help energize and harmonize a space and also makes a bold statement.

Like blue meeting yellow to make green, every color is a collision of influences – every palette a fresh chance at community.

Orange doesn’t have to scream “The 1970s were here!” Try a muted orange paired with neutrals for a look to coincide with your home’s decor.

BEHR Premium Plus Ultra. You can never go wrong with this blue. We see this on cabinets but also is an amazing accent /living room color.  #PPF-28 Blue Dusk Satin Enamel Interior/Exterior Paint and Primer.

Dark walls, such as black and deep charcoal gray will continue to be everywhere in 2018. Try black as an accent wall. Black works as a neutral so pair it with colors that make a statement.

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box! Add some inspirational colors that harmonizes with your home and style.
